Ntemfac A.N. Ofege’s “To Kill a Killer”: Now Proposed to National and International Audiences

To_kill_a_killer Yaounde – The reviews after a few sneak previews of Ntemfac A.N. Ofege’s "To Kill a Killer" are rave, almost delirious.

"I personally liked the intrigue of the film, its sound and picture quality and the directing," says Mr. Amadou Vamoulke, the General Manager of the Cameroon Radio and Television Corporation, CRTV.

"To Kill a Killer"

"To Kill a Killer,"

The Inner Circle is a vile occultic society, which circles dines on flesh and blood.

tells is the story of Victor (Mr.) Abango—a hard man, who is led by his own greed to trade off his children one after the other to the Inner Circle.
is scheduled for release in 2008. "We’re scouting for distributors, representatives and markets in Asia, North America, Europe, in short, the entire planet. About time Cameroonians got really involved in the movie industry, no?" says Ntemfac A. N. Ofege.

Delusion sets in when Victor Abango discovers that getting into the Inner Circle and trading off one’s children for glitter of a luxury car is the easy part. The hard part is unbecoming a full-flight member of the Inner Circle. What with Shrine-head, Balthazar Armageddon (Vugah Samuel) and Lucifer himself (Chris Tayong) wading in to make sure that Abango does not escape. What with Mr. Abango’s anointed daughter, Cristabella (Lydia Suh), waxing fierce and getting ready to deal with her own father.

"To Kill a Killer"

"A film with a powerful message," says Pastor Clement Mbambad formerly of Living Faith Ministries aka Winner’s Chapel, Bamenda and now of WMA-Winners Chapel, Guinea Bissau.

"To Kill a Killer"

"To Kill a Killer" is now "Ready for Broadcast" as the film jargon goes. The film, which comes along with a second version subtitled in French, has been proposed to the Cameroon Radio and Television Corporation, CRTV.

"We are also open to marketing avenues in the international arena, especially in international broadcast houses," says director-producer-writer, Ntemfac A.N. Ofege "As you know, marketing African films is the soft underbelly of film production in Africa. The Nigerians are organized to handle the problem. Hopefully, we’ll get organized."

"To Kill a Killer"

is sponsored by the Red Feather Foundation, United Media Incorporated and businessman, Achomuma Alphonsus. UMI is already auditioning for its next project, which project is a truly Cameroonian series. UMI has some 10 films in the works.
was written, rehearsed-developed and directed by Ntemfac Nchwete Ofege. The film was shot over two months on locations in Bambui, Bamenda and Douala. Editing ended early 2007.
was the occasion for some very fresh, very young and very talented acts to show their mettle. "I’m really excited about this project," says Miss Estella Sirri Niba (19), who acted Tina, the deeply persecuted daughter of the vicious and intemperate Mr. Victor Abango (Chinepoh Cosson).
