AN ORAL QUESTION DIRECTED TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF CAMEROON
HON AYAH Paul ABINE
MP FOR AKWAYA
THE SCNC EQUATION
Mr. Prime Minister,
of Cameroonians is that Cameroon is an island ofpeace in a turbulent sea. To preserve that priceless ideal, the
President of the Republic went out of the normal to sign the Green Tree Accord
with Nigeria on top of the
judgment of the International Court of Justice at The Hague. Out of the way because it is common knowledge that final judicial
decisions are automatically enforceable. To put it differently, orders of the
courts are not subject to negotiations. But for the sake of peace and to
prevent loss of human lives and property in the event of conflict, Cameroon
voluntarily forfeited her legal right.
CBN (CRYSTAL) is a Cameroonian adaptation of the modus operandi of most FM radio stations in the United States. Our idea is to set up a Cameroon Business Network, CBN, radio station fashioned on the module of most FM stations in the USA in mission and vision but adapted to the Cameroonian reality especially in programs.
Whereas operating in a rich and highly industrialized milieu, American radio stations would count on support from viable local industries through grants, adverts, messages etc. CBN (CRYSTAL) must be a committed commercial station to survive.
From desk and field market research carried out on some potential clients, CBN (CRYSTAL) is certain that there is considerable potential in a strictly business and Christian radio network.
