This is incredible. A must read for every anglophone, and especially those who hail from the North West Province. After reading this article, I was filled with anger, rage and saddness for my fellow north westerners. We have to do something about this crude and exploitative system run by one of the cruelest and most corrupt tyrants of the 20th and the dawn of the 21st century. The question to my fellow anglophones is - are our children going to inherit this toxic oppression?

This article is great! It is my hope that those who have chosen to be in denial and continue to praise the neopatrimonial regime in Cameroon would come across an article such as this and stop the insanity about how Biya is the natural candidate. Take for example, JB Ndeh--a few weeks after he was sacked as minister of transport, he still joined a gang in Bamenda to talk about Biya's achievements. It is only in Cameroon that when a minister is appointed, people from his/her village send messages of congratulations to Biya for "appointing one of ours a minister" as if the minister will use part of his/her salary or money he/she embezzles to improve the quality of life in his/her locality, and when sacked with nothing to show, the dumped minister continues to talk about the man's achievements. Peter Abety and Agbor-Tabi are other examples. Yes, just as Europe underdeveloped Africa (Walters Rodney 1981), Government has internally colonized the Northwest province.
