Southern Cameroons Liberation Movements now have Time-bound Agenda

Bamenda (September 2-3, 2005) – Initially built as a follow-up meeting of the July 31 sitting of the Coalition of Liberation Movements itself taking off from the various reconciliation meetings organised by the Dr Chia Commission, the September 2-3 sitting turned out to be an enlarged SCNC meeting, involving the Southern Cameroons Restoration Movement, SCARM, the various factions of the SCNC, AMBAZONIA, the Southern Cameroons Peoples Organisation, SCAPO, and the Southern Cameroons Youth League. It can be said to be about the first meeting of Southern Cameroonians held with revolutionary despatch and fervour.

The meeting started at about 10pm September 2, 2005 with SCARM (two representatives from Douala), SCAPO (two representatives from Bamenda), Ambazonia (two representatives from Bamenda, the SCYL (One stand-in from Bamenda) and the SCNC Nfor-Ngala (two representatives). In all ten people representing all the movements sat around the table. There was also a reputed Man of God who had combed the length and breadth of the Northern Zone to mobilise all the Councillors in the Northern Zone to talk about the problems besetting the SCNC and to draw a way forward. A Councillor from Babessi had left his coordinates but insisted that he would attend the morning meeting. The meeting opened with a prayer to the Most High to guide deliberations so that the troubled peoples of the Southern Cameroons would find the Way. Even before the meeting opened a known militant called from the US to offer his blessings and support. He was roundly taken apart for some unfulfilled promises that the Diaspora had made. “As usual we are left to fight with our fingers at home,” observed several of the attendees. The caller beat a hasty retreat while promising that he would make good of his pledges considering the gravity of the tone and the chill in the reception. Two representatives of the Southern Zone also called to acknowledge receipt of the directive that they should not bother coming to Bamenda because Chief Ayamba, the Chairman of the SCNC, had not summoned the SCNC Electoral College to elect a new executive for the SCNC as directed by SCARM, the vanguard organisation of the struggle. The directive for the Southern Zone not to attend was also informed by the fact that pro-regime hands within the mainstream SCNC had lobbied the North West administration to ban the all SCNC activities because SCARM had scheduled September 3 convocation of the SCNC Electoral College to replace them and bring in more radical members. Whereas these traitors were, in their reasoning, doing good service to the Biya regime by keeping the SCNC struggle peaceful. Instructed by this nod from what can only be vicious “collabos” and Fifth Columnists within the Southern Cameroons struggle, the Divisional Officer for Mezam proceeded to ban all SCNC activities in Mezam division and warned that fellows who allowed meetings in their homes were doing so at their own risk. The Governor of the province then deployed gendarmes and plainclothes police to the Presbyterian Church Centre and the Youth Centre, all normal venues for SCNC meetings. The group around the table was especially miffed by a report, since confirmed, that the Governor of the North West province, Mr Koumpa Issa, visited the Nfor-Ayamba SCNC at their Cow Street Office following the death of frontline member, Pa Ndi, and commended them for their “collaboration with the government.” Mr. Koumpa has since been queried for allowing the SCNC and UNPO flag to be flown above the Cow Street home of Pa Ndi during his burial. Naturally, the Coalition of Liberation Movements ignored the ban and threats from the pro-consuls and proceeded with deliberations. The coalition meeting opened with the key issues and more on the table: 1. The Kum Elias Financial Report with Mr Kum in attendance 2. The Misrepresentation of the Banjul Case. Whereas it is a fact that the Banjul Human Rights Court issues non-binding verdicts and only makes recommendations on Human rights issue to the AU, the Ayamba faction of the SCNC was deceiving the populace Southern Cameroon independence was imminent and collecting money for a celebration. 3. The refusal of Chief Ayamba to call the SCPC Meeting 4. Attempts by Nfor-Ngala Nfor to rig elections CPDM-style by creating fake precincts and councillors and this in total ignorance of SCNC guidelines regarding such issues 5. The various scandals affecting the mainstream SCNC notably the sabotage of key bridges with BB, the Scandinavian countries and others. 6. The arrests of Mr Nwancham and other SCNC members. 7. The various factions in the struggle. 8. Options and strategies open to the struggle, notably the impending changes at the UN, the possible creation of a UN Human Rights organ, Nigeria and Bakassi and other confidential matters. 9. The Crucial Reconciliation Issue For close to five hours the above subjects were twisted around and about and resolved upon. When the meeting winded in the little hours of the morning, SCAPO was delegated to present a draft of the resolutions for debate and adoption early September 3. Enter the Cow Street Bunch The Coalition Meeting rejoined at about 9am the following day with many other concerned Southern Cameroonians signing up as observers. The group grew to fifteen. SCAPO was just about to present the draft resolutions when Julius Ndi of the Nfor Nfor gung-ho wandered in. Mr Julius Ndi was welcomed and offered a seat. The said Julius Ndi, however, left in a mad rush some moments later. He was hardly gone for less than ten minutes when an impressive crowd of SCNC Nfor militants (mainly the Wimbum breed) arrived like the rain. Clearly the group had been waiting somewhere along Ghana Street ready to disrupt any meeting as it were. There were exactly 40 people in the crowd. Many more came later bringing the total attendees to 74. The fact that the Nfor group came armed for trouble was roundly ignored by the gracious and disarming welcome they received from the host and the convenors. Like Gowon welcoming back the beaten Biafra rebels, the host joined Dr Yongbang in welcoming the new arrivals. Provision had not been made for seventy plus guests so the host ran around and about for chairs and benches. Dr Yongbang, acting as moderator, then took the floor to welcome the group and to remind all that there would be no “election meeting” because Chief Ayamba had not complied with the SCARM directive to convene an electoral meeting. Consequent upon Chief Ayamba’s failure to convene the Electoral College, the Southern Zone was under-represented. Poorly represented, in fact, following information that Ayamba had failed to convene the Electoral College per the 1994 SCNC guidelines. A certain Ngock (distinct by his perpetual agitation and his awkward Zorro style sombrero) then jumped up to say that they (the Nfor Nfor group) were ready for an “election”..and that, in fact, Chief Ayamba had delegated the Hon PP. Nkwenti to represent him so, he said, the meeting and the election should proceed. As scripted, Ngock then called on PP Nkwenti to take the Chairman’s seat and moderate the meeting so that the business of the day could proceed. Ngock further called for a list of the participants to be taken…without doubt for the election to proceed. At this juncture, Fai Visha noted that a certain Amadou, native of Foumban!!!!; a known lackey cum driver cum errand boy of the Nfor Nfor group brought out a video camera and proceeded to film the proceedings. Mr Visha stood up to wonder outloud whether it was now SCNC procedures for deliberations to be filmed and filmed by a known member of the late Fochive’s clan. Ngock then jumped on his hind legs to say that they had been directed by Chief Ayamba to film the proceedings for…posterity and to avoid misrepresentation. Mr Visha again intervened to remind Ngock that no attendance roll and filming would go on because SCNC attendance lists and videotapes had often found their way to the regime. The Cow Street group hushed Mr Visha down and Amadou continue filming. The validity of Hon PP Nkwenti as a representative of Chief Ayamba was also hotly debated. Mr Nkwenti was told that he could not represent Chief Ayamba because he, PP Nkwenti, was from the Northern Zone and could not represent Chief Ayamba who was from the Southern Zone. Moreover the Southern Zone was practically absent. After arguing strenuously that Mr Visha and Dr Yongbang were ‘bringing logic into the whole thing,” Hon PP Nkwenti was forced to sit down. Ngock seconded by several members of the Nfor-Ngala Nfor clique then raised several objections about the meeting. He question the validity of the Electoral College of the SCNC as posted by SCARM claiming that people like Barrister Luke Sendze were not Councillors! Ngock was reminded that he just joined the struggle in 2003 and consequently was in no position to know much about the SCNC. Naturally Barrister Sendze etc have been Councillors since 1994. Ngock then asked to know who mandated SCARM to call an electoral meeting of the SCNC when SCARM had not held its own elections. Mr Ngock seconded by Mrs Mary Tawa said that Chief Ayamba and Nfor Ngala Nfor did not attend the meeting because they had not been invited. In reply the Reverend gentleman who had been mandated to contact Chief Ayamba brought out a Council list and an attendant invitation signed and receipted by…Nfor Ngala Nfor as Vice Chairman of the SCNC. The Reverend gentleman then stunned the audience by saying that he met with Nfor Ngala Nfor who told him that Chief Ayamba was in the Southern Zone and would be returning in a few days time. The gentleman added he again met Nfor who told him that Chief Ayamba did come back to Bamenda and was duly informed about the meeting but he left for the Southern Zone. Agitators like Mary Tawa who had yelled that Chief Ayamba was never informed about the meeting were forced to shut up. The Reverend gentleman, however, concluded by doubting Chief Ayamba’s competence, credentials and seriousness about the struggle. Rabble-rouser Ngock jumped on to remind the meeting that Chief Ayamba would not take orders from SCARM especially as those directives were first published by a local newspaper called Business and Politics. As the give and take continued, Mr. Nke Valentine who, without doubt, found the proceedings childish as he confirmed later, got up and left to attend to more important business. “You think we can ever get anywhere discussing important matters with such (fools) people who are defending posts that they don’t even have?” Mr Nke opined. The election issue was also debated and hotly. Several members of the Nfor Nfor clique voiced their reservations. “What is so urgent that we must hold elections now?” one of them said. During a press conference held earlier this year Nfor Ngala Nfor had greatly irritated the press and some SCNC militants by saying that “we cannot hold elections now because we have quite a lot on our hands..” This gentleman was asked whether the Prime Minister of the future Southern Cameroons would postpone elections indefinitely because he had ‘important matters’” in his hands. Mr Nfor Ngala Nfor had told a press conference that elections in the SCNC were suspended because he was scheduled to attend the SCAPO meeting in Taiwan next year as one of the ten officials of the UNPO. At that press conference Mr Nfor was reminded that the UNPO position was to Southern Cameroons and not to Nfor Ngala Nfor. In reply to the election debate, SCARM and SCAPO insisted that the Cow Street SCNC had been given the benefit of the doubt as the mainstream of the SCNC but they should not push it. What with all accusations of embezzlement, graft and treachery going on concerning that gung-ho. However, SCAPO said, it was imperative to hold elections as demanded by democracy and pure Southern Cameroons tradition. The Cow Street group conceded that they were working towards elections. The manner of preparing for those elections was another matter. It is most clear that Nfor Ngala Nfor, in total ignorance of the SCNC procedure regarding elections, is busy creating SDF-style wards in some precincts and counties in the pious hope that in spite of swiping SCNC funds he will be re-elected. The SCYL stand-in then took the floor to remind all and sundry about the imperative of creating a unified and legitimate leadership. His point was that a strong professional leadership would curb the incidence of stark raving illiterates representing the SCNC in the Banjul Court. With a decently organised election the standing SCNC legal and other commissions would be re-activated to give the movement a strong legal and other teams to handle the impending changes at the UN and the AU and so on. Also a dynamic team would tell the masses the truth about the Banjul Case rather than the hype being peddled by the Nfor Group. Also other matters about the struggle would be handled with due diligence in time and in space. Also, he said, the struggle has reached a point where mechanics and other hobos should, in spite of their zeal, accept their limitations. George Fobuwe, the newly co-opted treasurer then stood up to beat his chest that the elites should let them the masses handle the struggle for the masses know what to do. “We are against the elites,” Mr Fobuwe said. George Fobuwe, a panel beater cum mechanic, was asked if he could represent the SCNC at the Banjul Court or at the UN. He stayed quiet. A side debate was ongoing between Mary Tawa and Kum Elias. Mary Tawa kept poking her fingers into Kum’s eyes for publishing her name as one of those who took a loan from the Nfor Nfor SCNC bank created with asylum money. “I am a debtor, Mr Kum, “ Mary Tawa kept yelling..but you also must have chopped SCNC money. “Do you have any proof of that, “ Mr Kum retorted. A young man of the Cow Street group sprang up and challenged all who were sitting at the table thus: “ As you people are accusing Nfor and Mbinglo for embezzling SCNC monies, let anyone of you who has never done same swear on the Bible…’ Our Rev. gentleman then produced a Bible, and no one stepped forward!!! Along the side an SCYL member from Batibo kept bawling that he had raised a lot of the money for the Nfor Ngala Nfor SCNC and had not even been given his transport back home. “Let these old men continue stealing from us and growing fat, we shall deal with them one day, “ the young man said. Ngock, who it turned out, is the new Minutes Secretary of the SCNC (a newly created position?), was seen to hand over a letter to Dr Yongbang. The letter, he said was Chief Ayamba’s position about the Coalition of Liberation Movements and Elections in the SCNC. “Put it in an envelope, “ Dr Yongbang said. “How can you give me an official letter just like that?” Ngock then dispatched some crony to buy an envelope. Mr Kum Elias’ financial report all raised some more dust. The Nfor-Nfor group kept shouting for Kum to hand over all documents in his keeping. Kum retorted that the documents would only be given to a properly constituted Council or to an Auditor. He said that the documents had some more scandals…like the time he caught Nfor Ngala Nfor opening the Secretary’s drawer to steal 30.000FCFA. Mr Kum said Nfor Ngala later handed over a “note” for the 30.000. And so on and so on. Taking the floor again, after he had explained why SCAPO had decided to attend the meeting, Mr. Yembe Martin frowned at the fact that the Buea meeting held without his knowledge, considering that he, Ngock Martin etc were part of the Committee that was chosen in November 2004 to create a united front of the liberation movements. He presented the position of SCAPO, that all the Movements have their peculiarities, good for the struggle and so should not be dissolved. All should endeavour to forge together and work together following a programme. He reminded the SCNC that all Southern Cameroonians are members of the SCPC, and it is their duty to see to its welfare at all times. He frowned at the fact that reorganisation is going on at the base without the knowledge of those from the various areas, interested in coming up as well. He refuted the fact that those not resident in their various villages have never been SCNC Councillors…the case of Sendze, Yongbang, Gumne, etc. Almost all those who attended the meeting and had something to say were given the floor. Even the Julius Ndi, reputed for always shouting at meetings and threatening anyone opposing Nfor Nfor, was the one who raised the Motion that Yongbang, Nfor Nfor, Ndangam, Ebong and Fossung be called to order for holding the struggle hostage. He held that no amount of reorganisation can solve the problems of these gentlemen did not reconcile themselves. Julius Ndi like Martin Yembe insisted that the problem was mutual hatred for each other, even though he tried to exonerate Nfor Nfor from the bunch. When told that the Coalition of Liberation Movements had already created an AD Hoc Committee, Mary Tawa came back and insisted that the Nfor-Ayamba group must be represented in the Ad Hoc Committee. Ngock Martin was co-opted into the Ad Hoc Committee to represent the group especially because an earlier meeting had appointed Ngock, Nke Valentine, Ntemfac Ofege, and Martin Yembe among some other senior citizens of the Southern Cameroons to look for ways and means of creating a unified structure for the struggle. By its terms of reference that unit must bring together the Ebong, the Fossung, the Ayamba factions of the SCNC as well as SCARM, SCAPO, AMBAZONIA and even ALIP. It is but typical that the very next day, Chief Ayamba gave an interview to Bouddih Adams of The Post newspaper claiming that the meeting for which he had dispatched PP Nkwenti and for which the likes of Ngock, Ndi Julius, Mary Tawa, Mr Caleb, Fobuwe, etc were prime animators never held and that government gave 30.000.000 to the organisers!!! The same Mary Tawa and Ngock then produced a story on the Internet saying no meeting took place!!!! We are here humbly requesting that the tape that the Nfor Nfor group brought in be made available in its virgin form…uncontaminated. Afterall, we are in the electronic age and can easily decipher any tampering with such material.

Fossung Says Yaounde and Paris are preparing a major genocide in Southern Cameroons with Nfor Ngala and Fru Ndi as Accomplices.

* Plan will swing into action after Biya’s impending visit to Bamenda

n the eve of very major developments that should open the flood gates of freedom and independence of the peoples of the Southern Cameroons, the colonising authorities in Yaounde and Paris have concluded the diabolic plans against the Southern Cameroons.  According to very dependable sources, corroborated by Rev-Dr. Ambiazeh of the Fossung SCNC, a major genocide will ensue in the Southern Cameroons in the coming weeks, with some major political figures of the Northern zone as accomplices.

What had started as rumours that Israel and Paris were training some 4000 youths to be later sent over to the Southern Cameroons has now been confirmed.   Information has it that Yaounde has been carrying out secret recruitment of some 4000 Youths drawn from Kribi, Kumba, Mutengene, Victoria, Djoum, etc.  These youths are undergoing very special military training by the Israelite Hit Squad.

It is planned that after the course, these youths will be well armed and dispatched to the entire Northern Zone where they will professionally stir up trouble.  According to our sources, the troublemakers will carefully attack some Southern Cameroons leaders, eliminate them, thus sparking up tension and stirring up very big trouble.  It is at that moment that some will start attacking the Betis and Bamilikes who reside in the province.

As soon as the stage has been so set, the occupying forces will swim in and make a child’s play of the 1994 Rwandan genocide and the 1997 Congolese crisis.

            

Fru Ndi:  Accomplice No. 1.

eports hold that during his August “private” visit to Europe, la Republique’s President, Mr. Paul Biya met and held talks with SDF’s eternal National Chairman.  It is reported that both agreed that in case of any problem caused by the activists seeking the independence of the Southern Cameroons, both Biya and Fru Ndi should quickly come out with a joint statement to institute a four-state federation viz

a) Present South, East and Centre = Grand Centre State

b) Present three Northern Provinces = Grand North State

c) Littoral and Southwest = Grand coastal state.

d) West and North-west – Grand Grass field State

This agenda will bury the Southern Cameroons history and dream once and for all, they are said to have concluded. As such, Fru Ndi will be hailed as a saviour and a trouble –shooter.  He will then be given a chance to take the helm of the Federal Government, which will come up earlier than 2011.

Nfor Nfor:  Accomplice No. 2.

ur informant vouches that the vice National Chairman of the Ayamba – faction of SCNC is very aware of the Biya French deal.  It is highly proclaimed that Mr. Nfor Nfor Ngala who has all along blocked Unity of the movements, as well as of the SCNC factions is on the field reorganising the SCNC lower organs to retain his team in power, instead of telling them the truth.  Nfor has been heard vowing that if anyone dares him as far as the leadership of SCNC is concerned, he will fight to the last blood.   Aware of the recruitment going on, Nfor is said to have joined voices with Mr. Augustine Ndangam and Hitler Mbinglo in condemning the Southern Cameroons Youth League who want to put up a defence through the Southern Cameroons Defence Force  (SOCADEF).  By so doing, it is believed that Nfor and Co. are happy with the status quo, the reverend gentleman opines. It should be recalled that a recent report by Global Intelligence Update had revealed that France has just completed the construction of a military base in Cameroon (www.stratfor.com).  It is at this special military base that the Israelis are training the young recruits for the diabolic moves.  Note should be taken that Mr.  Biya plans to visit Bamenda come October.  It is in this guise that the secret agents from Yaounde have flooded all the corners of Bamenda.  The question on many minds is why no such recruitment is taking place in the Southern zone. The answer is blowing in the wind.

The Next Generation of SCNC Leadership May Just Be Coming

ast Saturday’s Southern Cameroons National Council sitting- albeit an almost entirely Northern Zone and SCNC Cow-street dominated affair – was significant in more ways than one. As one observer pointed out it was a grand first that an SCNC sitting did not degenerate into a huge conflagration with rival factions trading insults and punches. Rather almost every one who had something to say had their day.

Disaster was always in the offing though. It was most clear that the over 40-men and women strong delegation that arrived from the Cow Street office of the mainstream SCNC had been well coached and was every ready to bring down mayhem upon the convenors. It needed plenty of deft tact and manoeuvring to calm down the perpetual agitators and tone down the bile that was running down the beards of some of the key actors.

An extensive summary of the issues, debate, discussion and exchanges during the over three hours that the session last could be very unrevealing about the issues at stake. Was the “Chairman” Chief Ayamba consulted for the meeting? Did he give his accord for the meeting? Was he present at the Buea prelude of the Bamenda meeting? Who were the convenors of the meeting? What were the crucial issues that warranted a meeting? Was this meeting not just out to sack the Nfor Ngala-Mbinglo posse since indicted for gross misappropriation of funds? Was this meeting not out to sack Nfor Nfor? And the works.

At the end of the day, one thing stands out. The next generation of SCNC leadership may just be coming. What with youngsters learning democratic procedures at a full blown council meeting. And even more significantly, what with the younger generation assuming positions in the Ad Hoc Committee appointed to “reconcile” their squabbling fathers. Men will still judge the angels yet.

 

RESOLUTIONS OF THE COALITION OF SOUTHERN CAMEROONS LIBERATION MOVEMENTS MEETING, HELD IN BAMENDA FROM 2-3 SEPTEMBER, 2005

Pre-amble

T

he struggle for the restoration of the independence and statehood of the Southern Cameroons has taken a rugged route since the inception of the Cameroon Anglophone Movement (CAM) in 1991, the All Anglophone Conference (AAC I) in Buea in 1993, the Second All Anglophone Conference (AAC II) in Bamenda 1994.

The confusion at the helm of the Southern Cameroons National Council, SCNC: from Elad through Fossung to Ndoki Mukete: from Ebong through Luma and presently Ayamba have also added to the conundrum.

In all of these one thing has remained constant – the restoration of the independence and statehood of Southern Cameroons is paramount and non-negotiable.

The emergence of other movements like SCARM, the Southern Cameroons Restoration Movement (formerly CAM), AMBAZONIA, the Southern Cameroons Youth League (SCYL), and the Southern Cameroons Peoples Organisation (SCAPO) have all helped individually and collectively to advance the struggle.

Regrettably, the SCNC has been fractionalized because of one or several reasons, the major cause being the problem of legitimacy resulting basically from the non-respect of well-laid down and time-tested guidelines for the election of the SCNC leadership.

As a follow-up of several meetings already held this year and in a bid to de-emphasise the conflicts within the independence struggle, create a time-bound working platform and a common front, the Coalition of Liberation Movements met in Bamenda this September 2-3 2005, with representatives from the SCNC, SCARM, AMBAZONIA, SCYL, and SCAPO.

The meeting deliberated and resolved as follows:

q Considering the Coalition meeting in Buea on July 31, 2005;

q Considering the non-respect of the SCNC guidelines which violation has led to some embarrassing financial, constitutional and diplomatic scandals within the struggle at home and abroad;

q Considering the frank, open and democratic debate during the Bamenda Meeting especially the inputs from the heavy delegation of the mainstream of the SCNC led by The Rt. Honourable P.P. Nkwenti as delegated by Chief Ayamba;

q Considering the recognition by the meeting that the mandate of the Ayamba team has since expired and that reorganisation is pending;

q Considering the adverse effect that squabbles among some frontline members of the SCNC is having on the struggle;

q Considering the fact that impending events nationally and internationally necessitate the putting in place of a legitimate, acceptable, progressive, professional and unifying team to co-ordinate the affairs of the Southern Cameroons;

q Mindful of the fact that the SCNC is a nationalist and revolutionary movement and not a political party;

q Considering the urgent need to prepare the next generation of leaders;

q In view of the need to restore serenity and respect in the struggle;

The Coalition of Liberation Movements of the Southern Cameroons resolved as follows:

i.          Thanks the Convenors of the meeting for their concern and courage at a time when there are moves to weaken the struggle by La Republique du Cameroun and her agents;

ii.          Notes that, in spite of the non-compliance of the Chairman of the mainstream SCNC to convene a properly constituted meeting for re-organisation he did delegate the Rt. Honourable P.P. Nkwenti, Councillor for Ngoketunjia to represent him and that Mr. P.P. Nkwenti did lead a heavy delegation predominantly from the Northern Zone to the meeting;

iii.         Appreciates the fact that, for once, debate and discussions at the meeting were highly disciplined and democratic with every delegate having their say;

iv.         Condemns those using the struggle for their personal aims thus compromising the Supreme interest of the people of the Southern Cameroons;

v.         Frowns upon those misinforming the grassroots of Southern Cameroons about the struggle especially as concerns Abuja, Banjul, Geneva, the UNPO, etc.

vi.         Calls on the following frontline Councillors of the SCNC, Ambassador Fossung, Mr. Nfor Ngala Nfor, Mr Ndangam, Dr Yongbang and Justice Ebong to reconcile themselves in the Supreme interest of the people of the Southern Cameroons

vii.    Calls on all the citizens of the Southern Cameroons to remain confident and vigilant in the wake of enemy onslaught to frustrate our chances of restoring the independence and statehood of Southern Cameroons;

viii.       Requests all Southern Cameroonians to rally around the struggle and not around individuals;

ix.         Thanks all Southern Cameroons Liberation Movements; SCARM, SCNC, AMBAZONIA, SCYL, and SCAPO for their relentless efforts in the struggle;

x.         Calls for the total and detailed audit of the SCNC accounts and the indictment of all those found guilty of misappropriation and embezzlement;

xi.         Takes note of the need for the Coalition to promptly inform the UN, the AU and the UNPO of all developments in the Southern Cameroons struggle;

Consequently

Puts in place an Ad Hoc Committee of the Coalition of Liberation Movements of the Southern Cameroons with the following terms of reference:

a)     To ensure that serenity and credibility are restored to the struggle;

b)     To pray the National Chairman of the mainstream SCNC, Chief Ayamba Otun Ette to convene a properly constituted meeting to re-organise the National Executive of the SCNC before September 30, 2005;

c)     To pray Chief Ayamba to extend an invitation for the re-organisation exercise to the Fossung and Ebong factions of the SCNC;

d)     To encourage and support all legal and diplomatic actions, and at all levels, to resolve the Southern Cameroons struggle;

e)     To develop and execute concrete and creative solutions regarding the re-organisation and reconciliation of all liberation groups at home and in the Diaspora;

f)     To create the means, working procedures, infrastructure, technical and professional support for its own operation.

The Ad Hoc Committee of the Coalition of Liberation Movements of the Southern Cameroons comprises:

WHO IS BRAINWASHING SOUTHERN CAMEROONIANS?

A

t a time when Southern Cameroonians are expecting their leaders to show a good sense of leadership and solidarity, some of the faction leaders are busy planting discord, spreading falsehood and claiming glories that they do not deserve.  Leadership is not a dream but a real phenomenon, tangible and observable.  The importance of good and honest leadership in the Southern Cameroons Struggle has never been greater at any time than now.  Unfortunately for Southern Cameroonians this is not the case, as a string of egoistic fellows have been passing around for leaders.  From Elad, through Fossung, Mukete, Ebong, Luma and now the Aforgalarised Ayamba, only two Mukete and Luma had ever shown any signs of self-less leadership. A good leader should be a moralist in thought and action: Even under the most adverse conditions, a good leader must have a clear perspective of time-tested virtues of right and wrong and should have the discipline to elucidate them by example.  Morality requires a clear idea of right and wrong and the integrity to stand behind one’s assessment of these values.  In the present case in the SCNC leadership, integrity is one quality that people like Nfor Nfor find difficult and hard to accept.        

There is this idea that one of the factions has that it has been successful more than all the others in bringing concrete results:  Banjul, UNPO, Geneva etc.  The truth is that some of them had opposed the idea of the SCAPO – initiated Abuja Court Case that gave birth to the Banjul file.  They even tried to frustrate the signatories to put up the files, and thanks to late SCNC Chairman, Dr. Luma, this scheme was crushed. Today, they tell the world that it is they who are in the show.  Worse still, they forget to tell the truth that it was in Fossung’s reign that Yongbang and the Bobgas did all for the UNPO file to sail through smoothly.  When the file   for admission came, Dr. Yongbang extended it to Ayamba. Today, our brother claims that without him, no UNPO.  It is a real shame that a man seeking to lead a colonised people should start deceiving them.  Many see such a leader as a poseur, who sententiously exhorts people to be good, but a thinker and a doer of just the opposite.

Just when   will Southern Cameroonians have such leaders who will not take the struggle as a source of earning a living!  Why we so concerned about our welfare rather than that of the struggle and Southern Cameroons. Some are using the Biya/Fru Ndi political strategy to stay in power.  Biya is CPDM and CPDM is Biya.  Fru Ndi is SDF and SDF is Fru Ndi.  Nfor   Nfor is SCNC and SCNC is Nfor Nfor.  All have one thing in common:  they have some surrogates who frighten people, who hail their names and who threaten anyone daring them. They all claim to have control of the majority at the base.  They can brainwash this “robot” majority at the base at their whims- and so can manipulate their constitutions at will. They will perpetuate in power and send dangerous signals to those who dare write or talk about them negatively.  They are good orators; great liars and can whip sentiments freely.

But, they do not know that in a revolution, such leaders are crushed at very unexpected moments.  That is the tragedy that awaits all of them who are deceiving the people that without them, the world would not exist.   Fru Ndi, Biya, etc have all entangled their followers in a web that has set them in the direction of a ditch.  Anyone daring to point this truth out is destined for destruction by these warlords. All of them have swindled funds here or there to swell up their family status, they claim glories that aren’t their, and they are seen flying in and out, trying to explain themselves out.

Nchanji Moses in his tribute to Dr. Bernard Fonlon wrote:

“We are living in a world which we fallaciously believe that we must tell a lie every second in order to exonerate ourselves from certain societal entanglements … for many of us we tell lies to free ourselves and ease our lives or in short to simplify life which in the end is rather rendered more complicated.”

Watch out for the victims of their own lies.   Southern Cameroonians will know the truth just very soon and these impostors will pay like those in the French Revolution of the 1870s.  There is still time to adjust, though!

We denounce in the strongest possible terms the arrest and detention of Mr. Nwancham, SCNC Secretary General under the ridiculous pretense that he jubilated that UNPO has awarded membership to the Southern Cameroons. We also denounce the Nfor Ngala Nfor faction of the SCNC which not only jubilated that Nwancham was arrested but actually instigated and jubilated after the arrest because Nwancham had published a document denouncing the gross embezzlement of SCNC funds by Nfor and Mbinglo. Mr Mbinglo Hitler was even overheard outside the Bamenda Magistrate Court Friday, September 9^th jubilating that Nwancham had been arrested. “Why was he celebrating our admission to the UNPO when he is not even part of our SCNC,” Mbinglo said. How mean can people get?

We appreciate the efforts of these freedom fighters who have fought and are still fighting for our the independence of Southern Cameroons.We need to dedicate a day for those who have been crushed on the way like Justice EBONG,MBUNWE,P.P.NKWENTI etc.Also there must be some real strategy to see the end of the tunnel soonest possible:armed struggle!why not.ALOT NGWANA JOSEPH of Bamunkumbit,Ndop has been forced to leave the country because of his opinions.Rebecca NGWANGUNG an activist had to abandon her 7 kids for safety of recent.So many people have been forced to leave Cameroon to escape enslavement by la Republique du Cameroun and Paul Biya.Let's put finances together for a real fight.FREEEEEEEEEEEEDOMMMMMMMMM....WEEEEHHH!

DECAMPING TO CPDM....ANY MEANINGS ?
The true face of politicians can only be revealed after they have endured and resisted adversities,temptations,corruption and above all giving up the fight for which they call themselves politicians.I mean real politicians not political flirts who decamp from one party to the other in search of how to betray their initial cause.
Apparently the main fight is for the stomach no matter how the electorate is suffering.Needless to quote villians like FON DOH GAH GWANYIN of Balikumbat Subdivision.Despite the political and numerical strength of Bamunkumbit and Bafanji villages,he always succeeds to twist and twart votes in favor of his peers.
This time the convicted MP has been vomitted by the CPDM,his party after using teenagers to win the primary in Balikumbat.Mr Dinga Ignatius and Nkimih Peter have no choice than to work with Mr Mbami.However Dr.Leicigah Pius of SDF is watching closely to see how to win this CPDM stronghole.Thank God too some little understanding is reigning in Kumba after Chief Mukete and his family failed to impose themselves as the only cocks to crow in K-TOWN.
